Moon Gatherers focuses on harvesting moonlight, imbuing it in photosensitive shards of glass. Collected from disused greenhouses in the Italian countryside and prepared with liquid emulsion the glass shards are later exposed to the brightness of the Moon’s disc, whilst at the same time inscribing themselves on an underlying sheet of photographic paper, allowing the moonlight to reveal the inside look of the glass.
